The KCRS Women's Cooperative is a success story of female economic empowerment, where female farmers in Rwanda transitioned from vulnerable to self-sufficient, through high-quality coffee farming. As part of Rwanda's rebuilding post-genocide, the cooperative provided women with training, land ownership, and access to markets, leading to financial independence and community reinvestment.
